Y'all are probably going to think I'm crazy, but I'm just going to say it...I'm so excited about these three items that I got on my Costco trip today! That's 5 lbs of baking soda people! And it cost less than $5. Along with the giant bottle of vinegar (also less than $5) and the 54 ozs of coconut oil - a little more expensive at $15, but still half the price it would have been on Amazon - I spent $25 to save hundreds on cleaning and beauty products. These three items, along with my essential oils, are staples for me. I hope to share all of the recipes for the products I use regularly eventually. Today I just wanted to share a quick one that was on my Facebook feed when I got home. I pinned it last night, and my friend Jess tried it today and posted about it. She says it worked great! So here it is:

Blackhead Eraser

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 2 drops lemon essential oil

Add enough water to make a paste, spread on trouble area and leave for 20 minutes.

TIP from Jess: Make some extra and use the leftover to clean your bathroom.

What is your favorite use for baking soda?
